Hello Spring!

Its the end of February, and to me, it feels like the end of winter. Living Utah, its laughable, I know. But I want it to be the end of winter! I want to start hearing the robins sing. Its time for the daffodils and crocuses to start poking through the ground. I can start stock piling peeps and leaving them for my husband to find. (because if your don't know, HE LOVES PEEPS!) This year I can look for fluffy Easter dresses for my baby Juliet! My older daughters are too old and blah blah blah for me to pick sweet pastel dresses for them... so HA! Juliet can look like a colored egg without complaining! *(I would never be able to chooose!) I am ready for the sky to turn blue again and I am ready to GO OUTSIDE!

Reality can just stay away for a few minutes. I can dream of my beautiful spring. I can pretend that is not going to be cold and gray for another 2 months. I can look at sun dresses at the stores and try to pick them apart in my mind and wonder if I can make some at home. I cam look at the Easter candy and pretend that it won't have any fat or calories in it, and my spring can live in my mind. Warm, colorful, and happy!

Juliet turns one!

My Camera battery was dead when I went to take pictures of our sweet baby's first birthday. thankfully My mother in law took them for me! I am happy to have them now! It was a wild fun day. We counted over 40 people here in our wittle house. Juliet was a grumpy crabby baby all weekend. Juliet loves her new Lobster! Grandma and Grandpa Swaner bought it for her babyshower/birthday. Ruth told me I could pick out a high chair- and after some research, I knew this was the most logical, safest thing we could get! We have already taken it out to dinner, and Juliet LOVES it at home. Its the best gift we have ever had! And come on! she looks CUTE in it!
It was a great party!

I can't believe an entire year has gone by. The night before her birthday I happened upon a text message log on Dave's computer that he had open when I sat down to use it. It was a log from February 22, 2011.

They were all so sweet. I just sat and cried. Maybe its silly. But Its such a day filled with wonder, having a baby. It goes by so fast. It has been such a blessing having Juliet in our lives. She was such a miracle anyway, but having her light, smile, and giggles in our home is another miracle. We all adore her so. Last night Jordan was being a goof and had Juliet rolling with laughter. If there is a look for "Stop! My sides are killing me!" She had it! Nicole tells me this morning that she woke up late. She always plays with Juju for at least 10 minutes before school, but looks at me and said "I can't hold her today mom! I am late!" Juliet is on my hip hugging me and grinning. Not reaching for Nicole mind you- and Nicole sees her sister sweet face and says ' Oh come here! Just for a minute!" Kira wants to bathe her constantly! She loves this because after she gets to "do her hair." Yes- that is a loose interpretation. Juliet has no hair.

I love her. She is really our little sun. she shines so bright and warms us up.

Trashy mom

I am totally frustrated. I asked Jordan to clean something up- and found all the junk in a closet the next day. Last night I told him to take said junk and take care of ot- and today went into the laundry room to find it in there- behind the door.
I am cleaning it up, and the rest of the house.

Guess where the 3 bags of trash I have cleaned today are going?

I am so busy! But not. I am a tired mommy who wishes those teeth would just break through. Glad Juliet is still not walking. Makes me happy to have her be little a little longer. A stressed mommy who HATES the science fair every year, and a happy happy girl, who is thrilled to have such love and fun around her all of the time.

I also am lucky. I get to buy a new Transmission. Boo.
